Morehead State Univeristy (MSU) in Morehead, Kentucky, commissioned alumnus John Ward to produce a new official, full-color eagle print titled Eagle Lake Homecoming. The unveiling was Friday, October 20, as part of the Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet during the Homecoming activities. Completed in oils, the scene features a mighty eagle perched in the foreground, with another eagle in flight against the backdrop of the University's Eagle Lake. Only 5,000 numbered prints and 150 on canvas was produced.
